Multiple questions about my build?

Lately I've been looking to upgrade and I've been thinking about it for months. I thought 'screw it' recently and thought I'd buy a new PC from scratch. I forked out on this bad boy. I know it's a very good PC, but is is totally VR ready? And how long will it take (estimate) before I'll have to upgrade?

This works, but it's a miniITX motherboard...

And you're going to be set for 5-6 years, even with VR. 8K is just way too much; will take 5 years for monitors to start showing up then another 1-2 to become popularized enough. Plus, different materials aren't matured enough to replace silicon.
