Right now I have 1T hard drive.
I want to buy one more SSD and one HDD.
I want to ask will there be some complicated setup before reinstalling Windows?
And also my board has M.2 connector
Do you recommend that? I have pretty cheap board- Gigabyte Z97X-SLI
I heard terms like RAID and AHCI which I dont understand...

Solution

If you're going to reinstall the OS, do it with only that one drive connected.
I'd just get a regular SATA drive rather than an m.2
There is nothing special you need do to connect and use multiple drives. No RAID, nada.

Depending on the size of the SSD, you might want to redirect some things to the other drive(s).

Thanks for advice!
Can I ask you why you dont recommend m.2 drive because my board is cheap?

No real performance benefit over a regular SATA drive, and a bit more expensive.
Just yesterday, I was investigating this for my Z77 board. $25 more expensive, no performance benefit, and it sucks up one of the regular SATA ports.
