Hi all, Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum, I couldn't find a general troubleshooting one.

Anyway, I built my computer back in November 2011, Here's the specs:
* AMD Phenom II x4 955 Quad Core B.E @ 3.2GHZ
* Asus M4A79XTD Evo Motherboard
* Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3
* OCZ 600W ModXStream Pro PSU
* Western Digital 750GB Internal Hard Drive
* Asus 1GB Geforce GTX 560TI
* Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit

I updated the build around July 2013, Here's what was changed:
* AMD FX-6300 B.E 6-COre CPU @ 3.5GHZ
* ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Motherboard
* Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB DDR3)
+ Added a TP-Link TL-WDN4800 N900 Wireless Card

Anyway, Down the the problem.
Around September 2013, I started getting some problems with the computer. I use it every day for about 10 hours a day. I'm an avid gamer and am currently doing an online course, so my PC is fairly vital to me. So here's a list of the problems:

1.) After 11 pm-12 am (After being on all day), It act's extremely funny. It will freeze every 40 - 60 seconds for about 6 - 10 seconds, gradually getting more frequently and prolonged.

2.) The cursor will changed at random. For example, It will changed to the Widen Window cursor, or the Writing Cursor. It will not revert until I restart the computer. Also, these cursors seem to change to the negative color, instead of their standard color.

3.) It will restart on it's own if I pay a fairly demanding game, Like PlanetSide 2 or Total War: Rome 2. When it comes back on, It says windows failed to shut down correctly, and give me the option to start normally or in safe mode. But it does not give me a BSOD code when I get back into my profile.

4.) It will not turn off properly after the freezing has started. Last night it started to freeze so I went and turned it off. Everything went as normal, Windows and Programs closed, Went to that blue screen that says "Shutting Down" and then the TV went black and turned off (This is normal). But the system itself acted as if nothing happened, it still made noise ie. fans, disc etc. I left it for about 20 minutes to see if it would eventually shut off, but nothing happened. I had to resort to flicking the switch at the back of the PSU.

I have looked online for solutions but no one seems to be having this problem. I am really confused as I cannot determine what could cause such an elaborate problem.

Can you guys offer me any sort of solution, or any advice at all?

Thanks a million.

Would that not severe my connection to the Internet? My motherboard does not have an on board Network Card so I am reliant on the TP Link card.

Sorry for the late reply. I did uninstalled all programs related to TP-Link, but it has given me no joy. All the same problems still persist.
Any other advice?

Are u sure the process TWCU.exe is not there is process list in task manager? Because someone else had the same problem and this worked for him

Have u overclocked anything? Try resetting everything to stock values

Check if psu cables are properly connected - nothing is loose

Try reseating RAM

Is the psu very old?

Last case it could be a defective mobo

I bought my PSU about 2 years ago but according to its amazon page, it was first released in 2008, So it essentially is 5 years old. Maybe I just need a PSU upgrade.

Well that isn't a very good inference. There will be a date of manufacturing or date of import or something like that on the psu box. The OCZ 600W ModXStream Pro isn't a bad psu

Ah right, Sorry, I just went by what I knew. I do have the original box stashed away somewhere, Ill have a gander for it. But would 2 or so years be a bit old for a PSU anyway? I'm not massively tech savvy, so forgive my ignorance.
