Multiple ways of calling

This group is in serious need of new topics of discussion. So, once
again, I'd like to get the ball rolling.

We all know about the "9-Gates-of-Heaven" (1112345678999), where you
can call nine ways or for 9 different tiles. But what about other
multiple ways of calling?

Calling one way is easy: singleton x calling for another "x" for an
eye; or 12 calling for "3" (or 89 calling for "7") and so on.

Likewise, calling two ways is common: 23 calling for "1" or "4"; or
xx+yy calling for either "x" or "y" and so on.

Three ways is not as common as two ways, but happens frequently also:
2345678 calling for "2", "5" or "8" as an eye; 23444+xx calling for
either "1", "4", or "x" and so on.

But is it possible to call four ways (yes)? Five ways? Six ways?
Seven ways or even Eight ways? Where is Alan Kwan when you need him.
I know four ways is possible, but I want to leave it as an exercise for
the reader 🙂. Is it possible to come up with tile combinations so
that one can be calling multiple ways greater than four?
