Multiples Bsod after Ram change

Hello guys, i builded a pc with a friend of mine 2 months ago .. We had some real issues with the pc it wouldnt turn on, etc.. faulty psus , faulty graphic cards, etc.. just a bunch of bad luck.

When we got everything in order i gave him 4 gbs of ram ddr 3 in 2 sticks to try it out while i bought the real ram the pc would have later.... Well one of those ram sticks broke OR was broken before i gave it to him. The fact is one of the sticks never worked on this pc...

When we got the actual 8 gigs rams (2 sticks ddr3) and we placed them on the machine everything went fine.. Till the next day where it started giving bsod almost like 20 minutes after booting up everytime. We really dont know what is causing it, but its a diferent minidump we always get and the "probably caused by" field in whocrashed software tells us its unknown... EVEN ON SAFE MODE IT CRASHED!
Once it was system_service_exception, then it was memory management.. i really dont know what it is right now!?
When he boots a game the game glitches out or something and bsod. Sometimes he even gets a flickering image and restarts...

Most likely the RAM is faulty or incompatible.
Check your MOB's manual and see what RAM is compatible.
Also, test your RAM with MemTest.

What does the BSOD say?
Check ans see if the RAM is fully seated in the slot.
Blow the DIMMs out.

Hey thanks , look we really had bad computer luck. The mob said ddr 3 1333 would work fine! I dont get it, we are going to go for a memtest today and see what turns out. Do you think fry computers would return us the money if it were faulty like 1 month after we bought it?

Most likely the RAM is faulty or incompatible.

If the RAM is faulty they should accept a return. Also, the manufacturer will replace it if you have a warranty.
What RAM brand did you get? If I could get a link it would be great!

Well problem is we r on argentina.. and we would send my uncle to return it for the money back...
I really dont know warranty wasnt included at all i think

Sure! If the RAM is an unknown brand get something else. I got some cheap RAM like that and I got a BSOD every 20-30min. MemTest could not detect any problem too because the RAM was intermittent.
I think it could not keep a stable voltage. I got good RAM and all of the problems went away.
If you get RAM get Kingston or Crucial. I have built 5 computer and have not had a single problem with Kingston.
