Multitasking with an i5 4690k?

I just purchased components for a new build I'll be working on. Too late to swap processors now but I'd like a little insight into what I'll be experiencing. I plan on having a two monitor setup: my trusty older flat screen 24" Phillips hdtv as a main display and for gaming (I'll be fine with single monitor gaming for now), and an older flat panel vga monitor to the side for having just the usual browser activity. Watching videos, Facebook, etc.

Just for curiosity's sake, what I'd like to know is if the processor could handle running a game, Skype, and a live stream all at once? For example, running 1080p and at least 60fps on, say, Battlefield 4 (hate to use clichés). At some point I may want to go triple monitor setup with said tv and two more up to date monitors and I don't want to make any plans until I'm for sure the processor is a smart match for that type of activity.

you can do multitasking with the i5 4690K if you put more ram like 2X8gb DDR3 instead of 8gb
if you are on tight budget

if you can afford a i7 4790K it will be more futur proof because of more cores available for editing or multitasking

all the games actually do not need more then i5 4690K cpu ...there is no more performance (fps) with the i7 4790K

here you can see a lot of difference for that application in favor of i7 4790K

i think it depend on...

Multiple monitors depend on the GPU, now Livestreaming may cut you down in frames( I could be wrong, I never livestreamed, but when I do I lag..) , but I game with skype on with my I3 4130 and I see no drops on SWTOR or any other game I play.

I think the CPU should do just fine. What you might want to consider is RAM. Games are getting more demanding in that matter so if you plan to do livestreaming I'd go for 16GB, just for safety :)
