Multitasking with i5 6600k and 16gb ram

I like to watch Twitch livestreams and play games like BF1 and with those specs i get stuttering in BF1 when the stream is anywhere above the lowest quality. It a weird thing i know, but i want to know if more ram or something like a 6700k with hyperthreading would help that?

RAM shouldn't be an issue as long as you have only twitch open,however,open more things and chrome starts eating RAM like crazy. Still 16 should be enough. A better CPU should lower the stuttering but it just doesn't seem like a worthy upgrade to me since stuttering in today's games with a lot of things in the backround and specially bf1 which is CPU intensive is to be expected
