yes Mushikin is not a high tier vendor, they're a budget vendor. The Samsung will provide longer life, greater sustained read/write speeds and better max speeds and better latency. If this is your primary C drive, and especially if it's your only drive, I would say go with the Samsung unless you just can not justify spending the extra money. If this is a secondary drive than the Mushkin is a better choice unless you require the high performance of the Samsung.

In terms of the average user you'll likely be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two in daily usage. Both are visibly faster than an old HDD.

That said Mushkin is not garbage it's just not the best overall, its just the best budget SATA SSD around right now.


But is it really worth the $75 difference? Will I actually see any real-world differences?
