Mushkin 1 TB SSD disapeared

Hey there

My Mushkin 1 TB SSD disappeared. It was there the other day- I was using audio samples from it and today I turned on my computer and it was not there. Not recognized in Disk Management. I did try to disconnect another drive and use its power supply and SATA cable and it still does not work. Is this the end of it? I only had it for couple of months...

Hi Astralv.

You could also try it with a different SATA port, or even better - with a different computer, to see if it's recognized properly. Is it recognized at least by the BIOS/UEFI?

Anyway, if you can't get another computer to recognize it so that you can test it for errors or update it's firmware (if there are any available updates for that model), perhaps it would be best if you contact the vendor you got it from (or the manufacturer) and RMA it as it's probably still under warranty.
