I'm looking for a 800+ GB SSD of the MLC variety and so far it's come down to these two.
Personally i don't care much for speed because either of these SSD's will beat a HDD. What i care about is endurance and reliability for everyday usage in a laptop. Does either of these drives offer something the other does not? Part of me is set on getting the Reactor. However if the PNY offers something else that the Reactor does not then i might get it instead (40 GB doesn't bother me much)
I really don't want to spend $350 for a Samsung EVO 850 (TLC) 1TB. The Crucial MX300 (TLC) seems to be a step down from the Mushkin Reactor and the Crucial MX200 (MLC) is about $300 for 1TB and is a bit behind the Reactor.

This review says the CS2211 is TLC.

Not that it matters.
Endurance of larger ssd devices is better and plenty long enough for ordinary users.

My take; go with a tried and true product. You never know when some esoteric glitches will happen.

I thought the CS2211 used Toshiba's 15nm MLC?

Either way you have a point with the Samsung Evo. Their previous gen 840 Pro's never failed me. I guess i'll give this 850 Evo a try. Thanks.
