Music 2 1 soundcard

Hello,
My system:HP P6247c-quadcore, with soundcard built into mother board(Realtek High Definition).My speakers: Logictech z 2300.I want to improve sound for CDS, music only. What are some good soundcards.And how would they connect to my pc? Thanks.

You're in the wrong section btw.

You have onboard sound not a sound card.
A souncard is a discrete PCI device that fits in your mobo PCI slots.
Look for cards from Asus,Auzentech,and HT Omega and have Win7 drivers.
They can range in price from $40-200.
I recommend people stay away from Creative products.

You won't be able to tell much difference with an add-on sound card, the newer onboard stuff is pretty good. Unless you get interference when you play music.
