So my friend is wanting to build a computer. This computer would be used for music editing. Specifically he uses FL Studios and a few other programs with MANY plugins. His current setup struggles to open them all at one time and will also "stutter" while he plays back tracks. These stutters show a spike in the CPU graph so I assume its overloading the CPU? Anyway, he is aiming to build a better machine. Budget is around 800-900. Not if he needs a video card... Maybe a small one. Any ideas? TB of hard drive space is probably needed and then a SSD for the boot drive I believe.

Solution
Do you need an OS?
