[SOLVED] Music/Low end Gaming PC Build Advice

Im looking to build my buddy a PC capable of music creation (so a better cpu than gpu) but he still wants to do some light gaming on it.

The budget is about 600-700$ but were looking to max out at 650, but can go to 700 if the deal is worth it.

He also has a MicroCenter in his area... worth keeping in mind.

I have a build in mind. However I am not sure if I can save some money on a GPU to get a better cpu or more ram since its MAINLY a music creation rig, more so than gaming.

So Im looking for some input. Any advice would be appreciated.

Here is the build, but with much better CPU, much better GPU, much faster SSD, and better PSU, for only around $664.

The edited CPU price was Micro Center's price, as shown here
https://www.microcenter.com/product...-am4-boxed-processor-with-wraith-spire-cooler

Make sure that the Micro Center store that's closest to your friend's place has it available.

If not, you can find other CPUs in Micro Center like 2600X for $99.

Enjoy
