Music program for Win 7: Loading Tracks from CD

Hello All,
I'm running Win 7 Pro and am looking for a software program, free if possible, to load CDs onto my pc. Here's the catch: I have a lot of CDs that are non-stop dance mixes (some 15-30 tracks). I can play the mixes on most CD players/radios, DVD players and my computers. X-box and Playstation play the CDs, but has a slight pause between each track. Does anyone know of a program that will allow me to convert it to mp3 format (or wav) so I can listen through my phone or an ipod without hearing a skip between tracks. Any DJs out there with this issue? Thanks for any advice.

I think 'exact audio copy' is able to detect gaps and even delete them (not entirely sure) and do high quality CD rips to lossless formats.
Ripping straight to mp3 is not recommended.
