Mustek 1200ED w2k drivers?

I have a Mustek 1200ED and I am trying to install it under Win2000. I downloaded and installed the w2k drivers for my scanner but when I try to install it via Control Panel > Sanners and Camera > Add the system simply <b>won't add!!!</b> I am really pissed off when I threw tons of questions on Mustek and got <b><i>NOT A SINLGE REPLY!!!</i></b>. NEVER BUY MUSTEK SCANNERS!

You don't need to have the scanner listed in Windows' scanner list. I have a Mustek 1200UB scanner myself and it is not in the list. If you use the provided software (Ulead photo express) you can still scan pictures.

Is the UB a USB scanner?

WinMe will not add the Mustek 1200UB either but what do you expect for 60 bucks from Walmart?

Mine works find with its own software.
