mutant xfx 6800

found a xfx 6800 12 pipe with 350 core and ddr3 900mhz memory, not sure exactly where that would fit into the performance spectrum, seems between a vanilla card and the 6800gs, any thoughts anyone?

Sounds like a standard vanilla 6800. no "mutant" here.

standard is 325 core and 600 or 700 memory not 350 core and 900 memory

some come overclocked, are u using rivatuner to tell u the speeds of the gpu, if not the website u bought it from could have been lying... thats almost 6800gs speeds... id say if riva says u have 900 on memory then u got lucky and pretty much got a 6800gs for a 6800 price..

its the official specs from xfx for the model, they sell it as a special overclocked edition with ddr3

well then to answer ur perforamnce question, itll prob score somewhere between a 6800 and a 6800gs, closer to the 6800gs since the gs is only clocked 200? mhz more... whats the rest of ur system specs? also run 3dmark05 to see ur benchmark score...
