I made a couple that were genetically identical, except for gender. They
got along great and now have their first child. But to my surprise, the
toddler has more personality points than the parents. It has 1 less nice
point, but a lot more tidy and some more active and playful. Yes,
generally it falls into the same personality type as its parents - nice &
shy - but it's enough to give it a different star sign for instance. I did
not know this could happen, at least not this much.

Yeah Sims born rather than created tend to wind up with more points. I am
not sure why exactly but it happens.
