MX duo rechargable batteries

The logitech MX duo set works great, except for the needed batterie exchange in the keyboard. Thy KB came with Duracell 1.5V Alkaline batteries. I want to buy rechargable batteries for the KB, but which ones? Is is okie to put in NiMH batteries? I think they are rated at 1.2V.
