Apparently this drive uses MLC flash instead of the new apparently cheaper "TLC" flash. Does this translate into better real world results than the newer version of this drive? ie. mx200, mx300 or other newer budget drives
Also, if you have any idea, I would like to know a reliable site for SSD benches. Currently i'm using userbenchmark for the real world speed and I would like to know if it's considered a reliable source.

Anandtech has the best comparison setup in my opinion. Just select the category and parts to compare from here.

MLC is superior to TLC in endurance but it also comes down to other variables, most importantly the controller. The real truth is modern desktop SATA SSDs are all very similar. Almost all of them approach the limits of the SATA interface to handle information. That's why newer technologies like NVMe drives that use the M2 slot and PCI-E lanes are catching on.

TL;DR - There will not be a noticeable difference in any modern SSDs to you as the user. There may be smallish differences that will show up in benchmarks but the main gains are going from a HDD to any SSD. Even a TLC drive...

Even a TLC drive with 'inferior' flash will last many years even if used heavily on a daily basis.
