I just built a computer with
Gryphon Z97 motherboard
Geforce GTX 980 sc Graphics card
256gb ssd samsung
1tb wd hhd
Blueray disk drive
650 watt Evga power supply
So everything was working fine untill I put the ssd drive in, I got the right cable to transfer the operating system to it from the 1 tb HHD, that went smooth. I only just figured it out when i bought a game off of steam that my hhd space is eating up. So I checked to see if my computer was reading it and nope its not their. I restart and boot to bios and its not reading it.
So i crawl back their and relize the sata cable was unplugged, okay no problem I plug it back in and restart my tower. We then it wouldn't even boot to bios, all the keys were dead but the flash drives had power. The boot device led light was on the motherboard. So I unplug the power from the 1tb hhd and it boots fine. So i figured I'd run a seperate power cable and nope same thing, it will not boot to bios with the 1tb hhd plugged in.
The 1tbhhd was working fine until I got the ssd.
Anybody have an idea?
Thanks
