My 1050ti wont fit in my motherboard

Recently i've upgraded my PC from my fx-6300 to a i5-3470. But while building my pc i came across a problem my fans to big. Removing the back panel of my graphics card would let it fit but would i damage anything?

If it has a backplate its there for a reason, id xhange your fan rather than start taking the gpu to bits.

On another unrelated note a 3470 isnt really an upgrade over the fx6300, theyre pretty much equal.

I'm assuming that you have a 2 fan GTX1050Ti and it's too long to fit in your PC's case. I'd suggest you return the GPU and get a 1 fan version that's shorter and would fit.

Its the Asus Cerberus it fits in my pc its just the fan is to big ill just replace that.
