[SOLVED] My 1070 got a better Novabench score than a 1080 FTW?

I just picked up a EVGA 1080 FTW for a good deal but whenever i run the novabench, from looking at my history my 1070 before better than 1080, maybe i'm reading it wrong? I feel like there should be a decent jump between those two. But then i run UserBenchmark and that says that the 1080 is above average and running better than most 1080s. Em i not understanding this correctly? Neither is overclocked. Thank you in advance.

Hmm but i haven't done anything to the ram since. Weird!

Wait a minute...just went into my bios. First off its not Bios Click 5 anymore its the normal Bios Click. And all my XMP and DRAM adjustments have changed. Why would the GPU affect this? i'm so confused.

What is your motherboard and what version of the bios click are you on? If you had Bios Click 5 you should still have it right now.

I have an MSI b450 gaming carbon. i just googled, apparently they had to strip down everything for the new updates due to the chip size so it could fit all the 3000 ryzens. Just messed around with my ram and getting way better scores on Novabench.

Glad you realized the BIOS was not the same as before and that you returned your settings to what they were before.
