[SOLVED] My 12900k goes 4.9 ghz on BIOS... it's fine?

Hi, i just bought and build my own pc, my specs are the 12900k, ASUS Z690-P DDR4, Gigabyte P750 Gold, ...
But Im waiting that MSI bring me the upgrade kit for LGA 1700 for my 240mm AIO, meanwhile I tried to connect and turn on the pc without the cooler and it just go to 100c in the BIOS in less than 30 sec, is that normal?

You do not run a cpu without a cooler, period - and yes, that's normal.


Is this one of Msi's MAG Coreliquid Rs?

Ahh crap. Another one of these...
Good luck - many of these units seem to fail, or start failing, about a year in.
