[SOLVED] My 1600mhz (2x8gb) ram is running at the wrong frequency, how do I fix?

I just upgraded my 8gb (2x4gb) Ballistix Sport (1600mhz, 9-9-9-24) RAM to 16gb (2x8gb) Corsair Vengeance LP (1600mhz, 10-10-10-27). My new RAM is running dual channel at 665mhz with 9-9-9-24 latency. Shouldn't it be running at 800mhz at 10-10-10-27 instead? Do I need to fix this? and How do I fix it?

Edit: I have Maximus Vi Hero btw

You may need to go into your bios and turn XMP on. That will get your RAM up to proper speed with proper voltage.
