My 4 year old Samsung LED TV started getting white vertical pixel lines just hours after installing a replacement Verizon box.

We experienced vertical white pixel lines in our Samsung LED TV shortly after installing a replacement Verizon box. It got progressively worse until now the entire screen is covered. The lines remain when I disconnect the box. Could the new box have caused this issue?

I doubt it caused it, the screen probably just went bad.
