Hello, I've recently bought a 4k TV LG 43UN70003LA and its been working great, however when I connect my laptop via HDMI, everything is really laggy, not smooth at all, it's not enjoyable for watching or gaming at all. I've connected two laptops to test this out, both are Lenovo Legion, one is y530 with i7 8750h and 1060 6gb and the other one is legion 5 with i5 10300 and rtx 2060, both have the same issue when connected to the TV. The cable i use is new bought with the TV 3-4 days ago, which is high speed HDMI cable with Ethernet, on both Laptops everything is choopy, stuttering and not smooth at all, its identical to a screen share, if not worst. I noticed something weird tho, LG has this function called Instant Game Response, which makes no difference turned off or on, however there is another function called HDMI Ultra HD Deep Colour, when I turn it on everything is smooth as expected, however the screen is blinking constantly when its turned on and when you are loading a game or doing something that has a black background, there are some blue dots all over the screen, obviously something is not working quite well. I've tried basically all I could find on the internet, the picture mode is on game, I switched all of the Hdmi ports to be sure there is no difference, I tried 1080p, no difference, basically everything is useless except this hdmi ultra hd deep colour mode, which is buggy. Please, if someone has any suggestions feel free to drop them cus I've been struggling with this for 3 days now since i bought the Tv, whatever the solution, I'll even use it at 1080p at this point, but as a mentioned it is absolutely the same.
