I did that and both didn't show up but when I put it back in they were still thereeasy test. take the m.2 out and see what you have left

What other drives are in this system?
It just turns into a primary partition and yes my hard drive doesn't work unless I put it in safe mode. (I only recently got this pc that I built and the hard drive was from my old rig that was broken)That is 2 physical devices, Disk 2 & 3.
On only Disk 2, Right click and "New Simple Volume"

What happens with Disk 3?
Those drives, Disk 2 & 3, would indicate a physical 512GB drive and a physical 500GB drive.
