My 512gb otg can't copy videos and appears only black

I bought an OTG on shopee that has 512GB storage. But I dont know if my phone or laptop has a virus or what because when I copy videos and open them it's just black. I cant watch them. I plan to fill my OTG with kdramas but after copying 4 series of kdrama, the fifth one cant play and all the next videos. What can I do to fix it?

Check what format the phone can handle and convert your movies to that format.
