Hey guys just did a new build with Ryzen 5600x but didnt upgrade my GPU since prices are absolutely ridiculous atm.

However my old 980 Ti had two issues, one is that it would crash after I would start a game. So realizing the GPU is old now I reduced power limit in MSI Afterburner to 80% and now it's running fine however the GPU VRAM Clocks keep dropping down to 800 MHz, like 10 seconds normal and then 10 seconds dropped to 800 MHz. Core clocks don't change.

I dont know how to fix this or is this even fixable because the GPU is so old now?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Was this a full, fresh install of Windows after the upgrade? And what are the complete specs including exact power supply?
