My "A" key is messed up!

So recently my keys were sticky, usually just WSAD (I am a gamer). I cleaned my whole keyboard with cotton swabs and blowing into the dust. So after that my "A" key kept sticking no matter what I would do. Then I tweaked some more and now it does not stick but the rubber part underneath the key is distorted I guess you can say. It works... but it is not comfortable at all the key is a little bit lower than the rest and when I press "A" it doesn't feel like I am pressing it, so it is uncomfortable when playing CSGO and such. Can someone please help me? It is a stock mechanical gaming keyboard that has been working great for over a year!

Solution
Why is there rubber under the key? It sounds like a standard rubber dome keyboard rather than mechanical one!

Since you didn't name the keyboard, it's likely just one of those nockoff brands, so failure should be expected. Not much you can do besides replacing the part (if it's a real mechanical keyboard) or the whole thing (if you don't actually have mechanical switches)
