Try booting up in "Safe Mode" and see if you can get past this and into Windows. If you can, then see if you can get the computer to do a "System Restore" to a point prior to the update, or if it will allow direct uninstallation of the update.

a. Press the "F4" key to Enable "Safe Mode".
