My Acer aspire e1-522 starts up but I have no image

My Acer aspire starts up, runs, I can hear Skype turning on, connecting usb mouse...but no image..!
Any advice?

Hi,

If you can hear Windows loading and specially Skype the problem may lie on the display itself. Try and connect an external monitor and see if you'll get any display from it. If the display will come up on the external monitor press Windows + P at the same time then select Display Only and see if the built in display will come back. If these will not work the problem is with the display, you can try reseating the cable that connects it to the motherboard and again if that doesn't work you'll need to replace it already.
