my acer laptop wont start

ok i was listening to music on my acer E1-571.
when i froze making a high pitch sound which might be the music freezing.
since then ive had a black screen but power is going into laptop.
any idea how to bypass this problem other than take it into pc world where i bought it 5 months ago

Probably a hardware problem, best take it back to PC World... If you have valuable data this can be retrieved by hooking up your Drive to another PC, but you'll need a USB 2.5" caddy. (Plenty on Ebay)
Not sure how good the Techies in PC World are at retaining your Personal stuff...
