My active time on my C:/ Drive is at 100% and everything on my computer stops responding for a minutes?

Would you know of a windows service that is causing this?

First off is it a hdd or ssd? If it is a hdd how long have you had it? Also have you tried running defrag and checking the drive for errors?

there will be an option to optimize the drive in the same place that you defrag a hdd.
