[SOLVED] My adapter is not working (DVI to VGA)

I bought this adapter from the shop near me and it's not working at all.
My PC:
CPU: i7 860 (OC to 4 ghz)
GPU: GTX 750 TI
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

that port is labeled DVI-D, that is DVI-Digital only.
to use that adapter you need DVI-I or DVI-Integrated, which carries both digital and analog signals, VGA is analog. you would need an active converter not a dummy adapter like that.

That adapter is fake. It's never going to work. It lacks pins for analog signal.

You need active DVI-D to VGA adapter.
