my administrator account will not accept password and when i tried to reset it, it tells me it is not a real account. how do i

I am unsure of why the email no longer exists as that is the reason I cannot retrieve it or password, so I cannot reinstall windows 8 or restore to an earlier time, I have no way of changing it or even be able to do a disk cleanup, this is my home computer and I just want to get rid of it, thanks for any assistance
