My display driver AMD keeps crashing and recovering, and it's only when I'm watching YouTube videos. I don't know what to do. I'm a little dumb when it comes to computers, so please explain slowly, otherwise I might not even understand. I honestly have no idea how to describe my problem. Most of the time it recovers, but occasionally it causes my computer to freeze. When this happens, I usually have to remove the battery in my laptop and put it back in.
Hello AprilFear12,
There are a few ways you can tackle this issue...
First, I suggest you provide everyone here your Laptop's system specifications. The laptop make and model, the processor, the video card and most
importantly the version of the driver. The most common way to do this is by running a program called DxDiag by typing "dxdiag" in the "Search programs and files" (a.k.a. "Run"), after you click on the "Start" program. If this is too difficult, you can look at the manual and documentation that came with your laptop when you bought it. With this information, the Tom's Hardware community should be able to help you troubleshoot your issue. (I think installing the latest version of your video/display driver will do the trick).
The second way, you can contact team, AMD Global Customer Care team:
