I have a U-M8 quad core android kitkat 4.4 system. The box itself seems fast enough. I have a power line adapter running to the box at average 35Mbits per second and max 50-60 mega bits per second according to the speed test from oopla. Yet when I load something as simple as a South Park episode in 720p it takes a while to load to a point where it doesn't need to stop and buffer. I got my box from droidsticks.co.uk and any help is greatly appreciated !!!!!

Video buffering with the stops they cause in video playback are pretty annoying. It is further annoying because your internet connection speed is pretty quick.

I would make sure that there is nothing else consuming bandwidth in the background, either on your Android device, or other devices. The other thing is to enable the QOS (quality of service) setting on your router that should give the video priority over other data to smooth out video playback.
