My arm hurts

I just finished building my pc about 2 weeks ago and am very impressed with the result. But after using it for a while I took why right hand off the mouse to pic up my phone, and as I turned my arm around to see the screen I got a sharp pain in my arm. This has been reoccurring but it’s not that bad. But as a young hockey player this wouldn’t slide with my parents if they found out. I read about this online but found no help. I have a good mouse and it only hurts when a move my left hand in a weird way. I would like to pervert this from getting any worse. Any suggestions?

Solution
You're probably sitting in a slightly awkward position that strains a particular muscle for extended periods. I'm just wildly guessing, but your desk could be a fraction too high up, or you could be sitting a bit too far from or too close to the desk, or your armrests on your chair is in a wrong position.
For instance, I can't use the armrests on my char as they're an inch or so too high, which strains a muscle in my shoulder.
A simple solution for "mouse hand/arm" is to get a small rest in front of your mouse mat (google ergonomic mouse pad). That is almost guaranteed to take the strain off your muscles in your hand/arm.

Just beware that an ergonomic mouse mat isn't a universal solution to pains in the arm. It might not...

Either it gets better on its own, or you need to see a doc about it.

Gaming injury, hockey injury, 'other' injury...

Just beware that an ergonomic mouse mat isn't a universal solution to pains in the arm. It might not help at all, depending on your desk/chair/you. They're also not all-good. They get in the way of the mouse and such. :)
Also, don't try to "power through" the pains expecting it to eventually go away. You could easily end up sitting in an unnatural position, which could have long-term repercussions on your back or neck.

Solution
Solution #1. If your arm hurts, turn off your PC Immediately.

Solution #2. As thereallduckofdeath said: Ergonomics is super important. I like to use a lap desk so my elbows, forearms, wrists are aligned.

Solution #3. Get a carpal tunnel wrist brace (I like my 3M Futuro).
It reminds me to keep good posture, but most of all it reminds me to take a break when I over do it.
