My asrock z77 mobo doesn't like my CD drive cord so idk how to install drivers (URGENT)

I'm putting this pc together and I'm pretty much done it's just my CD drive is too old and relies on a big flat cord made for an old a bit mobo so I have to install mobo drivers via usb. I really need help finding out which drivers are the ones to download or how to turn the usb into something that the mobo will install off of. Once again it is an asrock z77 extreme4 please help me the host interface has nowhere to plug into my new mobo and I'm assuming it needs it. This is my first pc build

Do you have network? Download them from the Asrock site and install them.
