My Asus A500C doesn't turn on not even the lights.

I had it seated for months now it doesn't charge I am not even getting the lights to come on.

Try these troubleshooting steps and see if it helps.
1-Disconnect any external devices (USB flash drives, HDD, etc) from the unit.
2-Disconnect the AC adapter, press and hold the power button for 20-25, connect the AC adapter and let the unit charge for at least half hour then try powering it on.
3-If that does not work then, disconnect the AC adapter, press and hold the power button for 20-25, remove the RAM,
again press and hold the power button for 20-25 then put RAM back making sure is inserted properly. Connect the AC adapter and let the unit charge for at least half hour then try powering it on.
4-Try another AC adapter with similar specs.
Let me know if there is any sign of life.
