I just bought both of these parts to upgrade my system. When I turn it on all the fans spin on the cpu, GPU and case. The mobo cycles through the red orange lights then stays on the white one and it will never post.

I tried updating the bios to the newest version using the usb flash in the back with the button since I can't get it to post. I made sure to rename the file. The manual says to wait until the green light on the back turns off and the update will be done but I've left it overnight now and it's still on so I've gotta be doing something wrong.

I had an Intel system in before this which worked fine so I know the other parts aren't dead.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Let me know if you need any more info

Did you do the following; "Prepare a USB flash drive with a capacity of 1GB or more. *Requires a single sector USB flash drive in FAT16 / 32 format?"

This is how it should happen;
"Press the BIOS FlashBack™ button for three seconds until the FlashBack LED blinks three times, indicating that the BIOS FlashBack™ function is enabled.

*The BIOS file size will affect the update time. It can be completed in 8 minutes. Please do not remove the USB flash drive, unplug the power supply, turn on the power or press the CLR_CMOS button during the execution. This will cause the update to be interrupted and the system will not boot."

Yeah I did all that. That's what's in the manual. Any ideas? I'm pretty much stuck
