my Asus DRW-24B1ST wont read my game

So im currently trying to play a game on my PC on an ASUS optical drive, and i cant find a solution that would work.
I see it in windows media center, and the game disc as well but cant play the game.

important specs:
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer SATA Drive
Intel i5 6600k @4.2 Ghz
MSI Krait 3X Mobo
Seagate 1TB HDD
G.Skill 16GB RAM
MSI GTX GeForce Gaming X 1080

Some type of portable game ? Most need to be installed on HDD so things can be written to it.
