my Asus laptop is stuck restarting how do I reset it

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode, to see if you can do that? Have you experienced any issues with your laptop prior to this situation? Can you think of something (installed software, hardware change etc.) which could've caused this infinite loop? How far does it go before restarting again (what's the last screen you see before the laptop restarts)?
