my asus laptop will say it is preparing repair and will turn itself back on, but it never restarts. i ttried f12,, memory stick and cd, but it doesnt help.

if it is trying to do a repair then it is with windows.

Your windows install is botchd.

You will have to wipe (erase) your drive and reinstall windows.
