I currently Own a pc that has a Asus p8z77-Vpro MOBO I have been using the turtle beach ear force Z6A Headset its connected through the on board HD Audio on the back panel of the mobo everything was working perfectly until one day i turned it on and i couldn't get any sound so i checked just about everything i made sure that it was connected properly that nothing was loose i check the audio devices and it said that my headset is unplugged (REALTEK HD AUDIO DEVICE IS NOT PLUGGED IN) even though it always has been after seeing that i looked at the asus sound manager and i was able to switch between my front audio connectors on the case and the rear HD audio on the board it showed the front connectors by illuminating the picture of the jacks green and pink to acknowledge that they are active but when i switch to the hd on board audio they don't light up at all i tried to reinstall the sound drivers but there was no success as well as checking in the bios to make sure that the hd was even enabled and it was so i have no clue whats happening ive been using these headphones for a while no problems until till the night before nothing was touched until the next day when the computer was turned on

ya i just tried turning off my comp and disconnected the sound card and reboot uninstalled the card drivers as well as the mobo drivers then rebooted again reinstalled the asus audio and the audio jacks still aren't functioning

nope i tried both front and back connectors by switching them back and forth in the real tek manager the only ports that seems to be working is the orange connector (optical) its the only device from realtek on my sound device manager is it possible that they are blown? or damaged?

Yes i can RMA my board but theirs no point i might as well just buy a pcie sound card cause it will take a month to get that done and something else might go sometime in the new future
