My Asus Tuf Gaming X570 Pro WiFi motherboard is missing the middle mounting hole on the motherboard. The one directly below the CPU socket. The metal star/circle is there, but it still has solid board where the hole should be. The case standoff is still there, should the install be fine without this middle screw? Has anyone seen this before? Picture link below.

Remove standoff first or you are risking a short circuit.

Flip the board over and see if there is a cut mark where the hole should be, the punch might not have removed the plug when making the board. You could try an press on the center part lightly to see if it moves at all.

If it doenst move then do what mike said and just remove the standoff. You could shoot ASUS and email and ask them.

I chatted with ASUS, and they said that it should be fine to leave the middle standoff, and leave the screw out. They never asked if I would like to return it, so I hope it should be fine. Just waiting to get my 5900X to see if it works.
