Hi Guys,

I have an Asus Prime B550M-K Mobo with a 3070 installed. I want to install a wireless network card but the GPU covers both PCIE 1x slots. I have looked at riser cables but the GPU is sitting flush on the lanes so I can't use them either.

Does anyone have any solutions other than a USB wireless dongle?

Regards,

Solution
Ethernet would be your next best option if your wireless reception from the router to the back/front of your case is impeded with appliances.

You actually have the answer...that's the best course of action considering you stated this;
the GPU is sitting flush on the lanes so I can't use them either
You wouldn't be able to make a bend comfortably nor are there any angled PCIe x1 riser cables.

USB driven wireless adapter, it shall be.

Just as I feared. Am I right in thinking that USB adapters are inferior to wireless network cards? I need it for the downloading of large files, so speed is a priority.
