My asus usb ac68 wireless adapter keeps disconnecting on its own

I tried reinstalling a new driver,restarting,diabling and enablin and that doesnt work.I also tried to diable power management option from device manager and it still does not work.Any idea why?
I also realize that its kind of hot

should i return the adapter?what do i do if its too hot.Also where can i find the option called "scan valid interval"

Maybe it is faulty, maybe you need a different brand. I am not 100% sure.
If its under warranty - sure change it.
If not, maybe you need a different make.
I always prefer cable over wifi.

I returned the wireless adapter but the problem now is i need a new one,can you recommend a good one for me? no specific budget.
Also i cannot connect through ethernet cable because the router is just too far and very annoying to pass by.

Sorry, I am not expert enough in wifi adaptors to suggest a decent one. I think one of my office computers use a TP LINK one.

Oh man,after a few days i realize that the problem is from my pc it self and not from the adaoter ut =self,i tested it with my old adapter and it still works. I dont know whats the problem
