My Asus will not turn on

This has only occurred once. My laptop was charging and was at 3% while I was using it to answer an email, it than completely shut down and the light on the sides to indicate that it is on and charging have shut off as well. I have left it for 45 minutes to see if it just needed to charge some more but it still won't turn on. How do I get it to turn on?

Pull the battery and charger out, hold the power button for 5 seconds, and reconnect power to test again.

This is, of course, assuming your battery is removable instead of inside the laptop.

If doing this power cycle doesn't help, you could be facing an electrical failure, which would require servicing.

What do I do if my battery is inside the laptop? What do I do then?

Then it's a lot more work, if you're willing to go that far. If you're not experienced and/or comfortable doing it, I don't recommend trying this. It is kind of a long shot in this case, anyway. I have the feeling you have hardware failure that will require something needing to be replaced.
